Dog Massage & Bodywork

Sessions with pups are playful and very much directed by them. I come to your home and spend a lot of time on the floor interacting at their level. Dogs are incredibly responsive to the bodywork and massage techniques that I use including fascia releases, acupressure, tui na and hands on qi gong. They are clear communicators, and respond quickly to subtle shifts.

I fully expect to leave covered in hair and having received lots of kisses and slobber to the face if that’s their style - no need to apologize for it!

Generally 30-45 minutes long, session length will also be dependent on how your dog’s system is responding. They tend to know when it is enough, and also often like to take a little break or two part way through.

Questions you might have…

Do you do dog acupuncture?

I don’t. But my training in Chinese medicine and acupuncture channels informs how I treat dogs and I often use acupressure during sessions.

How do I book?

Text is best for booking doggo appointments. 250.589.5544. Please include you and your pups name, what type of dog the appointment is for, what is going on for them and the neighbourhood you live in.

Will my dog need follow up appointments?

Just like for humans, length of recovery time and follow up appointments depends on the type of injury or illness, how long it has been going on for and the age of the dog. I do my best to give a treatment plan recommendation at the end of the first session, but each of us are different and mend in different ways on different timelines.

Where do you do treatments?

I come to your home, within a 15km radius from my home base of Brentwood Bay. If you are further away than that, appointments may still be possible but have an additional $25 travel fee.
